Carpal Tunnel Progress Update

I recently lost my beloved dog as we realized that his suffering was becoming greater than our suffering in facing life without him so we made the very difficult decision to euthanize him. He had a long happy life and was never without love or care but as all pet owners know the loss is difficult.

Last October. One of Tucker’s last trips around our property.

Unfortunately, after 12 hour days at the computer to finish my work here and almost one year of lifting my 65 lb. pet several times daily, I have recently experienced one of the worst cases of carpal tunnel syndrome my Chiro has ever encountered. A compressed nerve from wrist to arm, to neck along with a ganglion cyst (best remedy for ganglion cyst = Aspercreme, reduces fluid buildup fast).

It wasn’t until my pet was gone and my wrist and hand began to swell that I even thought it might be carpal tunnel, since confirmed. Actually I asked my spouse to rotate my shoulder and I literally thought he broke my arm with the first rotation, then I quickly realized I needed professional adjustment because the pain was unbearable.

This has led to my drastic reduction in computer use for the time being as I do not want to miss out on new and exciting computer necessary design work opportunities that are coming my way soon by losing my right hand (the most necessary instrument). Very, very happy though to be back to my profession full time.

It also led to a new and proven serendipitous discovery to treat severe pain that works fast as I could no longer bear one more night of taking dangerous Tylenol (although I must say it has been less than 10, making the grand total of Tylenol consumption in my life probably one bottle) (and no way was I touching an NSAID) just to sleep as this nerve pain is quite severe and as you may or may not know carpal tunnel is much worse at night. I am happy to say that after 4 treatments now and this pain reduction tonic my range of motion is improving and with rest and much improved ergonomics (also neglected, this pain actually began after new desk setup, new keyboard and new mouse last fall) I hope to be back to full speed ahead again soon. Six weeks minimum he thinks.

As I was watching videos one rainy night this woodsman video showed up in my feed talking about a plant and of course I questioned is that even true? What else did I have to do, I couldn’t work, I couldn’t sleep, ice wasn’t working, hot water bottle wasn’t working, no liniment was working more than an hour or so. So long story short after several hours of confirmation as to what, how and why; I sought to discover does it meet my threshold of the burden of proof and is it safe.

On the bright side, aside from where I am experiencing this new pain in shoulder, neck, hand and arm my inflammation is practically zero as shown by testing (where it is showing; upper spine, it is off the charts) and considering my ‘health history’ my Chiro was quite astonished to see those results. I didn’t choose to elaborate on the issue as to why, if one has a hammer everything looks like a nail or a spine, so I failed to see the point other than note to self. I take advantage of his gentle adjustments to help free the known nerve compression.

This in no way will replace natural oral immune therapy for treating core gut/immune axis issues to prevent such chronic inflammation and keep it at bay but for an injury such as mine it works fast and is safe in the majority.

Which is what I needed as my chronic lack of sleep which was bad enough for month after month with a sick pet was not good for my overall well being to say the least.

I am elaborating lest anyone think I have changed course in any way, I have NOT and this is for an acute pain episode due to an injury. I will not be adding it to my daily protocol after this injury heals. Actually only one component in this tonic is completely new (and as always you will likely be able to find it close by and for free as I did), the rest are quite familiar and in my cabinet but naturally I did search to find the proposed mechanism of action for proven results as I don’t take anything without understanding that. I am merely happy to confirm the combination for my own relief as I was beginning to experience arm swelling, headaches (I never get headaches), and jaw pain from this severe nerve compression before I face permanent nerve damage, not going to happen, so I bit the bullet after Chiro consultation and realized I absolutely had to break from the computer for a few days at least.

However I also believe that if you can show via the exact mechanisms of action as to how natural oral immune therapy works to prevent disease stemming from chronic inflammation but in a much faster manner to reverse once it does happen (with this tonic) you are better able to prove your overall point about cellular and intracellular pathways involved in the inflammatory process, thus leading to over 7000 known conditions. I just happened to quickly be able to assess how each of the components in this tonic (and similar products) are doing their job because I am very familiar with them. And of course I am so happy to be able to sleep with much less pain as this nerve injury heals.

If you are new to natural oral immune therapy use it in conjunction to give you a jump start to understanding cellular mechanisms of inflammation if nothing else and hopefully it will keep you motivated to stay on the program (with no medicinal plant or mineral but by using safer for long term use and much greater bio availability functional foods and The Living Immune System) as long as necessary to enact long lasting results by understanding these same core mechanisms and constituents.

I wouldn’t recommend this tonic for long term use but;

*not a fan of majority of medicinal plants/herbs etc., have seen more people kill themselves with overuse of all plus essential oils than I care to remember, so use cautiously. Natural oral immune therapy needs no such disclaimers but I am placing warnings in product info for this tonic to avoid overuse as it is an immune inhibitor, however other inclusions will alleviate associated inhibitor toxicity.

Works fast for pain!

Inhibitory effect on NF-κB activation. In macrophages, lipopolysaccharide stimulation of nitric oxide production was abrogated by aqueous extract. Has been shown to be inhibitive of the mast cell proteinase tryptase, thus limiting degranulation and the subsequent release of pro-inflammatory mediators, such as cytokines. Reduces IL-1β, IL-2, IFN- and TNF-α. Decreases LPS induction of inflammatory mediators, triggering an 80% reduction in TNF-α and a 99% reduction in IL-1β.

Wouldn’t advise for anyone on any medication, especially blood pressure, diabetes or blood thinner.

How I could forget this from a desk job decades ago where I experienced similar problems and which healed very fast with proper ergonomic adjustment I don’t know but I did and I am sorry to say every wrong position, I was in for hours per day and month after month. So I am including this refresher course in proper desk setup.

Happy summer, I am resting my poor arm and revisiting the art of patience and letting go.

Stay tuned for exciting news about my collaboration with a professional health advice advocate and dear friend who has herself experienced the power of natural oral immune therapy. I am so fortunate to have met her as we both realize the importance of this issue for maintaining optimal nutrition and lifelong immune health and I know this epilogue is fitting to ensure the next book begins via the work of another tireless servant.

The ebook for Amazon Immune For Life will be on hold until I can work on the computer for longer periods without inducing pain.

I am quite confident the majority of current research will only be confirmation and reflection based on the work of these great pioneers in medicine and currently accepted as a worldwide mission by WHO to eradicate thousands upon thousands of conditions and which will lead to better and safer treatments for patients throughout their lifetime.

It is long past time to spread the good news.
