Video health update. ER visit. Sorry for the no make up. Naming names or at least places, not accusing anyone of malicious intent just their USUAL WILLFUL cognitive dissonance, they would NEVER think a DRUG causes PROBLEMS….. despite the RN’s suggestions to do the required tests, he didn’t listen to them either. He also barely examined me at all, just ordered the most expensive tests on the menu that virtually show nothing (CTscan).

There is about a one in ten chance you are going to get a proper diagnosis at Penn Highlands (or any area hospital system for that matter) forget about an effective treatment. That’s a generous 40 year assessment. 9 out out of 10 visits resulted in iatrogenic damage that often took years to recover from. Almost every major health scare I’ve ever encountered was the result of a drug or improper diagnosis followed by an improper drug.

This is most likely no different and probably began with kidney issue due to the antibiotic.

If you took them out of the picture, they would be unemployed but of course they are expanding exponentially.

Forgot standard treatment protocol, one is a vasodilator not a steroid, so it would be IV fluids, IV abx if necessary and vasodilator. Also forgot my one brand probiotics, Innovix. Sorry started taking probiotics after finishing abx, I said finished the probiotics by mistake, still not feeling well so kind of more forgetful.

Current treatment plan:

  • Acid Whey/Whole fat mammal milk.
  • Innovix
  • Raw Probiotics
  • Florastor (saccharomyces boulardii)
  • Yogurt/Kefir/Colostrum (triple dose).
  • Salmon Oil
  • Vitamin E
  • Ubiquinol
  • Taurine
  • Garlic gel caps
  • SIBO recipe
  • GSE if yeast or something worse occurs (will not harm good bacteria) (which it appears it might be, Candida that is, colostrum will alleviate c. diff. or e coli/toxins)

Cephalexin Reviews: Patient stories.

It wasn’t in my original plans but when I get better I will cover saccharomyces boulardii, some tolerate it well, some don’t. Aside from VSL, I believe it is the only medicinal probiotic actually prescribed.

The pneumonitis/mold exposure in 2020 was extensive, I was definitely not the only person in the building affected by it. My manager often had to leave due to high blood pressure. The sound of hacking coughs were frequent. Sinus headaches and migraines abounded. One employee eventually needed a walker and gut was so destroyed could only eat soup. Emotional outbursts were common as were joint pains. I could’ve helped everyone in the entire building with natural oral immune therapy if the opportunity presented itself but it didn’t.

I deleted those posts but it was a 4-5 month long daily (winter) exposure culminating in severe respiratory distress, very high blood pressure (finally normalized after month two on nebulizer) and sinus and lung  inflammation. I began to finally suspect mold when I broke out in hives one day at work, the next day I had severe breathing problems. The building had a leaky roof, which to date as far as I know has not been fixed despite repeated employee complaints, so the melting snow was literally dripping down the wall by my desk as they had a pail in the corner to catch the excess water. I didn’t learn of that until after I left. So much for that side hustle to try to earn ad money for my shop, cost me dearly. Despite the company claim of poverty, they make millions.

Anyway I guess this will be a demonstration of the dangers of some antibiotics, especially if you didn’t really need them or are prone to reactions from some classes of antibiotics and just how fast you can get your gut bacteria wiped out with one course.

But on a good note My finger, it’s healing and Looking so much better and no signs of worsening. Not sure I need to continue taking though.First time taking this drug.  3 BoilThe medication started to work against the infection fairly quickly, for which I was thankful. Of the common symptoms listed, my most pronounced was headache/migraine. I already get migraines, so I wasn’t thrilled that keflex increases them. The other side effect that drove me crazy (not listed by the manufactures but mentioned by other patients) was the waves of heat and sweating. That part was awful. Even though I was taking 1500 MG/day for 10 days, the other side effects were manageable. The manufactures need to list a more comprehensive and accurate list of side effects. What is currently provided is too general and incomplete.F4010 days

2 UTIHeadache, extreme fatigue, chills and sweats, rapid heart rate, loose stools, heavy chest feeling, very bad anxiety.I’m on my last day and I’m hoping these side effects go away soon because this is terrifying. I’m exhausted but don’t sleep well at night, my anxiety is crazy bad (never been this bad in my life), my heart rate is up. Honestly I’m feel worse now than I did before. I guess it clears up a UTI but I’ve never had this reaction to an antibiotic before. I thought I was going crazy until I found this site. The doctor told me these weren’t side effects.F325 days

3 Ear piercing infectionAnxiety, diarrhea, headaches, nauseaI’ve taken keflex before and I can’t remember any side effects besides the normal diarrhea and general feeling of being off somehow. But this time I’ve been experiencing extreme anxiety feeding off the recent anxiety I already have been experiencing. I just had my first anxiety attack and it took at least an hour for my breathing to get back to normal.F221 days6/19/2020
1 Prevent infection from a dirty cutOn the third day of taking 2 doses a day I woke up at 5 am feeling nauseous and weak. I then proceeded to vomit every half an hour until 10 pm. Seriously thought I was dying but I couldn’t even rip myself away from the toilet to go to the ER. A few rounds in I was just vomiting bile and chunks of mucus and what little water i was able to get down before I would vomit again. I would basically vomit, chug water, pass out, and then wake up half an hour later to vomit again. Seriously the worst day of my life. Never taking this demon drug ever again. Oh yeah and for the days leading up to this I had a painful rash over every inch of my body. This was prescribed to me by a nurse practioner, if you get prescribed this ask for something else and switch providers. There are so many other better antibiotics.F203 days

1 Post Surgery PreventionExtreme fatigue, lightheaded/dizziness, joint painWas prescribed this as a preventative after cosmetic surgery. Started feeling the side effects day 2. So incredibly tired to the point I could barely keep my eyes open. Dizziness was more like a groggy, unsteady swaying. No gastrointestinal issues, mild cramps. Begged my Dr. to allow me to stop taking it Day 4 (was a 7 day RX) Thank goodness he said I could stop. On the second full day of not taking it. Still feeling a bit lightheaded/dizzy, but not nearly as fatigued. Hopefully the side effects go away soon because this is horrible.F384 days

2 UTIAnxiety – heart palpitations, racing heart, feeling of “omg I’m gonna die”, some shortness of breath, possible higher blood pressure. Chills/feeling cold when I normally don’t.I took Macrobid first which did not fully take my symptoms away. I started Cephalexin and get done for the first 2-3 days (UTI symptoms cleared up during this time). Day 3-6 I had on and off anxiety / panic attacks. Even without the mental anxiety, my body had anxiety/panic attack bodily reactions (listed above). I thought I was going to die but I’m so glad I read that other people were having similar reactions because I thought for sure I’d need to go to the hospital/ER (which I wouldn’t go unless I thought i absolutely needed to because I don’t have insurance). Hoping these symptoms go away after I’m done!F 7 days

1 AbcessFeeling hungry but unable to eat, general unwell feeling, chills, stomach cramps, gas, bloating, heartburn, sharp chest and back pain, stabbing lower back pain/feeling of pressure, tired all the time, severe anxiety/feeling like im going to die, odd looking greenish/orange bowel movement(not diarrhea) itchy/sore pain around anus, and worse of all symptoms by far is the difficulty breathing. It cleared my infection after a few days, but symptoms are almost unbearable. All symptoms started around the fifth day of taking it, besides mild stomach discomfort and slight bloating which were present the whole duration. When i started having breathing difficulties around the fifth day, it was always after eating and accompanied by bloating. Drinking a sip of raw organic apple cider vinegar seemed to be the only thing to help bloating and having trouble breathing. Laying flat on my back also helped difficulty breathing. Make sure to have probiotics 2 hours after your dose as well to prevent yeast overgrowth and avoid sugar. Also make sure to stay hydrated and eat foods that are easy to digest. I do not believe this medication should be used by anyone unless it is the only option.M2510 days

1 Dog BiteSevere stomach cramps, gas, bloating, nausea, diarrhea, extreme neck pain/tightness Got put on this horrid stuff as an infection preventative, also recieved a tetanus shot and was taking codeine. My period came the day after starting these which I think worsened the situation. I spent my second day in absolute agony debating a hospital trip. Pushed through and stayed in bed the next day with constant cramps and toilet trips every 20 mins to release gas. Today the pain is still terrible but bearable and have stopped taking them. Going to a doctor later to find an alternative. Not worth it. Felt like I was dying. Would not recommend.F253 days

3 robbed in Brazil, stabbed 4 timesMild symptoms: headache, pain in the middle of the abdomen, burning in the stomach, pain in the joints of the arms, going to the bathroom more often than normal (it was not diarrhea) Strong symptoms: mental confusion when trying to sleep, mental confusion when waking up, waking up several times, difficulty sleeping, very anxious, heart beating very hard, sleeping between 1 to 6 hours a day (my normal is 8 hours)The medicine worked very well, my wounds were not infected, however, I had many adverse symptoms, things that I normally do not have. After taking the medication for 9 days and feeling these symptoms since the 5th day, my doctor recommended that the treatment be stopped, because there was only 1 day of treatment left. Note: I have had moderate anxiety for 1 year, but with other symptoms such as chest and back pain. If you can avoid this medication and take a less harmful one, it would be better. Just repeating the info from previous post. I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER TAKE THIS DRUG AGAIN. I don’t care if my foot falls off.

Only I could end up in such bad shape from a twisted elastic on my Mary Janes.

Cephalexin reviews:

Keflex (cephalexin) for Skin or Soft Tissue Infection: “Had an ingrown toenail infection. Was given 500mg keflex taken 4 times a day for 7 days. It is working and I have no pain in my toe. However… so far I’ve had diarrhea, stomach pain, tiredness and weakness, dizzy spells, yellow skin, loss of appetite, nauseous, red scratchy eyes. So most of the usual stuff. The long and short of it is my toe will be healed as long as I can deal with the side effects for a few more days.”

For Skin or Soft Tissue Infection: “I had a cyst removed and was given cephalexin to stop it getting infected. Took the first one at 2:30 pm finished the work day eat dinner @ 7: 30. Then started getting side effects, the chest pain started by 12:00 i could barely breathe and the chest pain is so severe now pain in the shoulders and neck hurt to breathe can not lay down else the pain gets 2 times as bad. At hospital now chest xray, CT scan blood tests ultra sound . Nitro glisoran helped a little all test came back negative for heart , blockages, next day a little better got to dr. Said I had a reaction to this antibiotic I will never take this again close to death after taking one pill.”

Keflex (cephalexin) for Skin or Soft Tissue Infection: “I’ve been prescribed this antibiotic many times. I just realized that with my current course for a skin infection that I sweat profusely when I take this. The last time I had episodes of profuse sweating was the last time I was on this! I don’t see it listed anywhere as a side effect, but it seems to happen to me every time I take it. ”

For Bacterial Infection: “I’ve been on this drug multiple times before for UTI’s and had manageable side effects, usually headache and fatigue. This time I was put on it for a suspected bacterial infection. I took it for 3.5 days and increasingly had severe headache, unbearable anxiety and tachycardia requiring beta blocker usage. I don’t even know if anxiety is the right word, I literally feel like I’m on a hallucinogen or something, and sleeping has been impossible because of this feeling and the racing heart, it feels like a constant adrenaline surge I have no control over. Very weak as well, last night I felt like I couldn’t move my legs and almost went to the er. I’ve been off of it for a couple days now and finally slept last night but still don’t feel right in my head. Will never take this again, I feel like I’m in hell.”

For Bacterial Infection: “Okay, so I recently had ovarian removal of my left ovary at the beginning of the month. Fast forward about three weeks and I see that my belly button which was one of the areas they went in through, had a pool of puss in it (Even though I had no fever nor did I really have any redness or swelling) But I thought it would be better to be safe than sorry so I went to the ER. The doctor barely looked it over, acted like he didn’t even want to be there, and then sent his nurse in to prescribe me this garbage antibiotic cephalexin. I am going on day four and I’m done. There’s no way I can continue this medication for 7 days. It in a short amount of time has already made me incredibly dizzy and fatigued, but has given me horrible stomach aches that come and go, diarrhea, and a feeling like I’m about to faint. It looks like the infection is gone and if it’s not then I will go to my primary care doctor and have them prescribe me something else.”

Just showing a pic of my foot healing nicely. It was completely healed, skin sloughed off, virtually can’t tell difference from my other foot now. No swelling, no pain, no redness, nothing.

Probably and most likely post abx event.

Will never take cephalexin again and I can’t believe all my animals have been on it.

Cephalexin reviews:

For Bacterial Infection: “After very minor foot surgury, I was put on 500 mg Cephalexin 4 times per day for a week. After 4 days my digestive system went septic and I had to quit the medication. I seldom take even over-the-counter drugs and have never had a reaction this severe to an antibiotic before. I thought I would get back to normal after a week but after 3 more weeks my digestive system has not imporved. I have scheduled an appointment with another doctor in hopes of regaining my normal health.”

For Bacterial Infection: “Basically, I got strep throat and the first several days on cephalexin were fine except for a bit of a stomach ache. Then, soon after, my body temperature dropped to 94.3 and I got extreme vertigo. Kept having worrying empty life feelings . Cephalexin works a little too well, not only gets rid of the bacteria but almost getting rid of the human in the process.”

For Bacterial Infection: “I was going through severe anxiety, heart palpitations, tachycardia, body numbness, going in and out of another world. I had new allergys, twitching when I would almost fall asleep, 21 ER visits later I found the answer. The antibiotic I was on for tooth infection caused severe ulcers all threw out my GI track, it can cause all of that. I almost had a couple heart attacks before I realized this. Here is what my treatment is consisting of, beta blockers to control the heart palpitations ( you need them or it will get bad) Ativan to control the anxiety (this too will get worse) Steroids to fix your mental state, reduce intestinal swelling, and get your immune system back on track so your allergies stop (this too will get worse) and a PPI pill to stop the stomach acid so they can heal. Also I’m waiting for a scope treatment from a Gastro Doctor. I’m hoping I can make it until then but for anybody else experiencing what I did please get it addressed ASAP, I was told by every doctor it was anxiety and even banned from a ER”

For Bacterial Infection: “I’m currently on my 5 th day of cephelaxin 500 mg 4X a day . I have an abscess from shaving with a dull razor and not using shaving gel, that’s what I’m thinking anyway. Anyway, this antibiotic is really messing me up. I’m anxious, paranoid around people, super irritable, I feel scared in general. My stomach is distended and I’m constipated and retaining water. I want to stop but I’m scared to. I’m going to call my dr. Thanks every one for posting about your experience. Helping Me a lot”

Keflex (cephalexin) for Bacterial Infection: “Diagnosed with Diverticulitis prescribed Keflex a dose of 500mg three times per day. Infection cleared but I am left with side effects of pains in legs, hands, thighs, toes, fingers and really sore shoulders into spine and ribs. Didn’t have these pains prior to taking this drug. Jaw started clicking as well. Never again.”

For Kidney Infections: “I’m a healthy 20 year old female who took this drug for about 4 days before having to call it quits. I’m 9 weeks pregnant at the moment. Not sure if that was making this worse or not, but I had the WORST fatigue I’ve ever experienced. I was physically unable to get out of bed other than to use the bathroom and shower. My body felt extremely heavy and I was very confused and out of it. It make me nausea I was already experiencing 10 times worse. I ended up having a severe episode of heart racing for about 10 minutes on the 4th day. Blood pressure shot up to 150 and pulse got high. I threw this away. Listen to your body. I know it’s important to finish medications but when the side effects are this bad this is dangerous. Since my urine has completely stopped burning and it’s clear again, I have made another appointment with my doctor to confirm my infection is gone. Home tests came back negative. If not, I will request something else because this was AWFUL.”
